When I recently opened a project I created in Premiere 2019 I found the audio and video to be out of sync all throughout my 7-min timeline.
Not only that, the audio cuts that I made are not the same. For instance, audio for someone speaking on camera will be cut off mid sentence or an audio selection will start earlier than my original cut. It's as if someone went in a re-cut all the audio. It's totally baffling and there's no forum discussions or fixes I can find on the internet.
The last time I opened this project (last week), I made some changes to it, rendered it and exported for my production team to watch. Everything was fine.
A colleague suggested I delete the files in the audio previews folder that Adobe automatically creates when a project is set up.
