I use Adobe Lightroom Classic CC. Just did an update to Majove on Mac. Not using dark screen, now. In Library Panel (after processed photos) I want to import more photos. In Library Panel, Press Import. There appears to be the import panel UNDER the Library panel. The photos come up but I cannot do any of the Import functions. Only way to make this work is to close and reopen LR. I have relaunched LR. Quite frustrating, Any advise please..

Can you replicate the above situation where you say the Import Panel appears "UNDER the Library panel"?

Post a screen shot of the top part of that thanks.

What do you mean you "cannot do any of the Import functions"?

Can you see and select images for import in Import dialogue box?

Can you share a screenshot? This would help a lot

Th photos come up, but i can not select or uncheck any photos as there appears to be a residue of the library panel over the Import panel

Are you saying that the Library Module appears on top of the Import dialogue box?

Can you share a  screenshot?

Did you try resetting Lightroom (Ctrl+Alt+Shift when starting)?

We will need to see a screen shot of what you are seeing. To do that with a Mac Google "Keyboard shortcuts for taking a screen shot in OS X". Then take a screen shot of the whole LR window/screen and Post it in a reply to this discussion. You have to on the Forum Web site to do that. you can't include it in an email reply.
