Preset Folder

WE ARE NOT ABLE TO GET ANY PRESETS TO SHOW WITH THE NEW UPDATE?

THEY HAVE ALL DISSAPERED AND WE HAVE PLACED ALL OLD ONES IN THE RIGHT LOCATIONS BUT NOTHING HAPPENS.

And have you clicked on the + top right of the presets panel, then clicked manage, then seen if they apper but need to be marked as to show up in presets?

And, depending on where the preset came from (internal to LR, or a third party), you may need to import them, even if they are in the correct folder.

You'll have to give more information, otherwise we may give you the wrong answer. So first of all: what version of Lightroom are you using now and what version were you using before? Next, what kind of presets are these (what is the file extension)? And finally: in what location did you place them?

I have put the presets in the user preset folder through the preferences in Lightroom.

I am using 8.0 version of Lightroom but nothing works. very weird.

And you naturally closed LR then relaunched?

And to repeat (may have missed your reply), in the presets panel, clicked on the + sign, selected manage, and noted if the missing ones are displayed, but not checked off to be visible in the panel??
