Crashing after data import

Hi,

I'm trying to add a short 66000kb video into an existing project from which I've already exported clips. The file will import, but when I try to move it into the edit window, Premiere crashes. I've tried reinstalling, using new projects and different files but nothing is working. Any ideas please?

What is the file ... what created it, what's the format/codec & such.

Also ... how did you import it into PrPro?
