Disabling the Work Area Bar

Hey there! So I am feeling rather silly not knowing what this is but it popped up a while ago and I cannot seem to explain to other editor friends what it is.

It's the gray area above that looks like in and out points however I can't seem to get rid of it and I'd like to.

Any info/suggestions would be much appreciated.

That is the Work Area Bar. You can remove it by clicking on the hamburger/wing menu of the Timeline Sequence tab (far upper right) and uncheck Work Area Bar.
