So what scaling (resampling) method does Premiere use by default? And is there an option to select one to use? I am looking for the option to choose between bicubic, bilinear, nearest neighbour, or even Gaussian, Lanczos, bicubic spline and bicubic-luma-bilinear-chroma.

This should help, Delltar: some details about scaling in Premiere Pro CS5, CS5.5, CS6, and CC | Creative Cloud blog by Adobe

I don't believe there's a way to choose the scaling algorithm. Sorry.

Thanks,
Kevin
