How do I export 2K pro res/1920x1080?

How do I export 1920x1080 2k pro res?

The footage was originally shot as 3712x2700 apple pro res 422 hq. How do I keep it at 4:3 but export as 1920x1080?

I'm having a hard time understanding export settings so any help with pics would be greatly appreciated!

1920X1080 is a 16:9 ratio so taking 4:3 ratio video and exporting it out at 16:9 will give you black bars on the left and right of your video. This will accomplish what you are saying in your post, but it might not be what you want it to look like.
