Very annoying behavior of Multi Track Selection tool

currently the multitrack selection is set by default to selecting ALL tracks, and the only way to select one track needs a modifier key (Shift). This is really annoying, because I mostly need to select only one track. It gets more annoying, when I need then to move this selection somewhere, but the pressed Shift doesn't let me do it, so I need to release it immediately again. Of course with practice I cinda can get used to it, but still ,I would prefer to have separate shortcut for selecting clips on one track

It used to be reversed, selecting one track pair by default, and all tracks with the modifier.  Adobe switched that a couple versions ago.

Might just have to get used to it.
