Updated Lightroom Classic CC - now it won't open.

I've had Lightroom Classic CC on this current computer for about 3 months and haven't had any issues ( I have had issues with it running Photoshop - it installed just fine but every time I try to open it, it tells me it is missing certain components of the app).

Lightroom was bugging me to update, so I did. When I try to open it now, it gives me this message:

Configuration Error

Please uninstall and reinstall the product.

If this problem still occurs, please contact Adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling in Creative Cloud and restarted my computer but still get the same error message. I really need to edit photos so if anyone has an idea of a solution for someone who's not all that computer-savvy, please let me know!!
