Will a DELL Inspiron 15 with *GB RAM, 3.1 GHz Processor, 1000GB Hard drive support the Light room Classic Photoshop

Sure it will run, but I expect it will be very slow. Of course, it would help to know exactly what CPU you are getting.

My general opinion is that you don't want to run Lightroom on low-end computers.

It doesn't need a graphics card to run Lightroom.

I am confused now. I called DELL and they said I need a Graphics card. They recommend buying the Inspiron 14. Series 7000.

Lightroom does not require a graphics card. The only time you need a graphics card for LR is to make use of the graphics acceleration, which is only useful if you have a 4K or larger monitor, which the Dell Inspiron 15 does not have. (You may need a graphics card for other software, I don't know what else you plan to run on this computer).

But, I am skeptical that a low end computer will run Lightroom well.
