what is the point of saving 3 mins after I've saved, then not again for another 20 minutes. Auto save should save at a specific interval that is reset by a manual save.
And in the background.

voted!
But in the meantime, saving 15 mins after the last save at least makes logical sense. Big projects can sometimes take 10 seconds to save. Its stupid when it autsaves just after I've saved.

It's even stupider when you save and save as a copy and close and it asks you "do you want to save this project ?"
hehe

I guess in a way it makes sense....
otherwise the save function type stuff (on timer etc.) would have to be hooked into the NLE actions by user, and that would probably add overhead and complex programming junk to the mix.
Probably just have to live with it.

maybe like, in basic, IF THEN ELSE
IF usersave THEN gosub 1122000 ELSE
goto 120
timer value$ set
return
PRINT see if you can get back to working on timeline now.

Autosave is working reliably for me in 13.0, but I do agree with Jim.
