Installing Flash Player on MacBook Air

I am running on macOS 10.13.6 and I am trying to install Flash Player.  The installer thing downloads on my laptop, and I click on it to install.  It goes through the motions and tells me that Flash Player has been installed, but when I check through Flash Player Help, it says that nothing is installed.  I have tried multiple times and the same thing happens. Please help!!

All browser's block Flash by default, forcing user's to enable it, usually for each site.  For information on allowing Flash in the browser, see:
