I've Just updated my Premiere Pro 2019 to version 13.0.1 and keeps crashing when i start it up. Initial it was crashing when loading some plugins so i uninstalled them and even uninstalled Premiere and and reinstalled but it keeps crashing. its now Crashing when loading "importerQuickTime.prm" which i think is a default Premiere plugin. and when reverting its only letting me install Premiere Pro 2018 which let me open the projects ive been working on with the new Premiere pro.

Hi RowanC,

Can you find the file here? %APPDATA%\Adobe\Common\Essential Sound\SharedTags.json

If so, please remove it and see if the situation returns to normal after restarting Premiere Pro.

Thanks,

Kevin

PROBLEM SOLVED

Hi Kevin,

I had the same issue and tried many possible solutions from use the administrator rights, renaming the Plug-ins Folder to eliminate some plugins passing by clean up the TEMP folder... the result = problem not solved.

Following your instruction it works now.

I don`t know yet if the absence of this file causes some other trouble, but in the last hours so far so good.

Thanks,

ALBERTO
