how do I group clips so I can stetch them to fit a specific space

I have a group of clips in my video.  I want to group them together and then stretch them to fit the space.

Here's a link of compiled information about grouped clips. You can see on the right where it says "Group Clips" in blue! Click that and it'll take you to the correct section.

maybe you can start a new sequence from your current "group" on your timeline, and insert the clips one at a time ( trimming as you like to fit new TIME ). ??

Select the clips, nest and use the stretch tool to make it fit or

use the ripple trim tool, select clips and trim outwards.

I couldn't imagine making a 'group' of clips so ethereal that the heads and tails of each clip was irrelevant.  What a cool option !
