I am trying to import presets, and I know how to, but the arrow by the plus sign is not showing up for me. I'm not sure if it is a setting or something that I have to turn on

There is no arrow by the + sign! Well, yes there is, but it is very tiny, and not like the usual 'drop-down' menu icons.

In v8.0, When you hover the mouse cursor over the + sign you may see this-

And when you click the mouse cursor pointer right on the + sign, you should see this menu-

And what Version Number of Lightroom-Classic do you have?

Regards. My System: Lightroom-Classic 13.2 Photoshop 25.5, ACR 16.2, Lightroom 7.2, Lr-iOS 9.0.1, Bridge 14.0.2, Windows-11.

Ahh, hovering will accomplish nothing other than displaying the top option (Create Preset) you need to click on the + symbol

Sounds as if the OP has an issue of when the + is clicked on, only Create Preset shows up. Is a reset preferences called for?

I think we should see the System Info.

rays64146540  Would you open your Lightroom System Info from-  Lr Main Menu > Help > System Info...

and copy and paste the top 6 lines from the report into your reply here.

Only the exact Version Number of Lr will give some clues.

You are also behind by about SEVEN updates to Lightroom! Time you updated to Classic v8.0

And the Preset [+] menus were not the same in CC2015.14.
