Not able to edit text using InDesign Zine Template

Hi guys,

I am using this template​ to try and make a zine. Here are is one page, and another page. The text in top left (LIGULA MANGA No. 001) and top right (CHAPTER 001) are unselectable/editable. They appear on every page of the template, and I don't need them.

I tried to open the layers panel and delete the text layers, but it deletes EVERY kind of text on EVERY page. For certain pages I only want photos with no text, some pages I want both.

How can I delete these two properties?
