note: newer os'es (especially mac os'es) are not compatible with older programs (especially adobe's).  this may help you start your installation, https://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/macos-high-sierra-compatibility.html that said, you can download the installation files using the below link.

Single user licensee downloadable installation files available:

Updates

  • Download and installation help for Adobe links

  • Download and installation help for Prodesigntools links are listed on most linked pages.  They are critical; especially steps 1, 2 and 3 which also apply to eLearning Sute 2.5.  If you click a link that does not have those steps listed, open a second window using the Lightroom 3 link to see those 'Important Instructions'.

And a big thank you to Jim @ Prodesigntools for helping me with these links!

If you get access denied be sure you are logged in with the Adobe ID that registered the software, and your browser allows cookies. Be sure to download both links.

Are you using the Adobe ID that registered the Acrobat 9 Pro originally? What country are you connecting from?

Hi wankap,

Try the links given on this page, and make sure to carefully follow the download instructions given there:

Direct Download Links for Adobe Acrobat X Pro/Standard, X Suite, 9 Pro/Standard, 9 Extended

That should hopefully take care of any issue with "access denied"... Please let us know if that worked.

I don’t understand the first part of your reply. Is this the account which registered the software you want to download? Does it show in registered products under your account?

(those links work whether you have/had a license or never had a license.)

@op, confirm that you can connect to the secure adobe servers by reading, http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/activation-network-issues.html

do you see both logos?

if you can and still see a connection error, white list the adobe network endpoints, https://helpx.adobe.com/enterprise/kb/network-endpoints.html

So you don't need to have registered? Ok. I did some tests.

I opened Edge.

Went to http://trials2.adobe.com/Applications/Acrobat/APEX/9/APEX9_Win_WEB_WWEFG.exe

Got this:

Signed in to Adobe.com. Didn't help. Signed in to the forums. Didn't help.

It does, however, continue to work just fine in Chrome.

correct.  registration is not necessary but maybe chrome is needed.

i don't know why other browsers ( safari, firefox, ie and edge) would fail with that access denied error.
