Hotspot mapping not visible

I am attempting to insert hotspot maps.

Goal is to use the image property tool (image from other forums) as shown in lower left.

My properties does not show mapping area at the lower left, even when I have the image in focus.  Any suggestions?

I am now in design mode.   Post the question and instantaneously fix the issue!
