Adjusting tint - No tint slider?

Everything I have read says there is supposed to be a slider to adjust tint. Is there some sort of setting that is hiding it? I have tried to create the swatch variations that I need in other programs and add them to my CC library but it wont let me do that either.

The tint slider is in the color panel when a global swatch is selected.
