Sorry for your issue. I understand that the color quality of the media file changes after import in Premiere Pro.

  1. Which version of Premiere Pro are you using?
  2. What are your computer specifications(OS, RAM, GPU, Processor etc)?
  3. Where do you check the quality of the preview (Source monitor or Program monitor). Please share a screenshot of the original and imported file. FAQ: How do I capture and post a screen shot or video?

Try changing the video renderer. FAQ: How to change the Video Renderer in Premiere Pro? Let us know if it helps.
