Help, I've just bought premiere pro and I keep opening up a project and it automatically goes to not responding and I have to force quit! I managed to get bit of editing done the other day on there before it went to not responding!!

HI aidans49546904,

Sorry for the freeze issue. We need more info to troubleshoot the issue.

What are the system specs(OS version, RAM, CPU, GPU)? What is the exact dot version of installed Premiere Pro?FAQ: How to find the exact version of Premiere Pro you're using?

Are you logged in as an Administrator into the machine?

Is this happening with all projects or just with one project?

What is the location of the footage?

Thanks,

Vidya

I use the early 2015 MacBook Pro, I’ve just installed premiere pro so I’m guessing it’s the latest version. It’s happening on every project and the files are stored in my documents.

Thanks.
