Clip in preview press play nothing happens

Hi

I have latest version of Premiere Pro

I have latest driver update of nvidia

I drag one video clip into the project, double click as usual it appears in preview pane and when I press play nothing happens.

If I drag the cursor to get to other portions as usual.  The clip stays at opening point

Same thing happens when I directly put clip in the main screen.

It worked on Jan 10th

Stopped working a week later with no changes to software.

I am dim and don't understand

Please post computer specs, OS, Premiere build.

Which driver did you install for nvidia?

Post screenshot of clip in MediaInfo windows in treeview here on the forum.

Hi Barry!

I wonder if it would play correctly if you imported the video using the media browser. Other than that, we'll need the info that Ann asked for above to get you some proper help!

This is the transcript from adobe support which fixed problem\\

please do the following steps

ready

1.
Go to the documents folder >> Adobe >>> rename the Premier pro folder as premier pro.oldThen, press ( windows key + "R" ) to start the run command>> search for " appdata" >> Romaing>>> Adobe >>>>rename the Premier pro folder as premier pro.old

This may take a minute as I have more than one doc folder

okay, but there should  be a main folder

okay now launch the premier prop

okay, please check the issue and let me know
