You cannot export high of low res frames.

The frames are the same resolution as the video.

If you want better images use png or tiff but not jpg.

Hi Antje,

Still image exports from Premiere are going to match the Sequence Settings. For instance 1920x1080 pixels for 1080p sequence, 1280x720 for 720p, or 3840x2160 for UHD (4K). You may have accidentally gotten the wrong sequence settings, check that out.

Thanks

Jeff

Click mouse anywhere inside Timeline area to highlight that window, then at top of screen, Sequence > Sequence Settings

If you can share a screen shot of the Sequence Settings panel, that will be most helpful in quickly finding a resolution to the issue.

Thanks

Hi Antje,

When starting a new project, import the video clips of the type that will be used the most. Then right-click on a clip in the Project window and select New Sequence from Clip. This will make sure the timeline Sequence properly matches the video you are editing, for frame size, frame rate, pixel aspect, and fields/progressive, everything that matters.

Without doing the above, the FIRST piece of media added to the timeline may determine those settings and that may not always be right! You can also just drag and drop a desired video clip as first media to a blank timeline and you may see the request Do you want to match sequence to clip and you can say yes, change settings and it will then modify sequence to match clip. Either method will work.

Thanks

Jeff
