I have the original version of CS, using InDesign 3.0.1. Your script is for newer versions. Do you have a version for the original CS?
Thanks for your quick rescue. -

Kasyan Servetsky Jan 30, 2009 10:36 AM (in response to Bullitt667)I took no notice that you use CS – sorry. I don't have this version installed on my computer any more, so I can't make the script compatible with it. -

Harbs. Feb 3, 2009 11:42 AM (in response to Bullitt667)I just looked at Kasyan's script, and I don't see anything which
wouldn't work in CS. Just change the extension to js.

9. Re: Script to replace filename.tif with graphic of same name
Bullitt667 Feb 9, 2009 8:35 AM (in response to Bullitt667)The script runs now, but no graphics are replaced is the message I get, even though I pointed to the correct folder with like named graphics in tif versus jpg format. -
10. Re: Script to replace filename.tif with graphic of same name
(Dave_Saunders) Feb 9, 2009 9:01 AM (in response to Bullitt667)And you've confirmed that indeed they're still tifs and not jpgs -- that is, it's not just the message that is wrong, the script really isn't working?

Bullitt667 Feb 9, 2009 12:03 PM (in response to Bullitt667)Dave
I placed and linked Jpegs in a document with like named tif's placed in a folder. I ran the script, pointed to the folder and it said that no graphics were replaced. The linked graphics were the original Jpegs. -
12. Re: Script to replace filename.tif with graphic of same name
Kasyan Servetsky Feb 9, 2009 11:07 PM (in response to Bullitt667)The existing links and the links you want them to replace with, shouldn’t be in the same folder for the script to work. If this is the case, try to move new links to a different folder. -
