Can anybody please help me on this issue. Is there any way i can move topic from one folder to another without disturbing the link and all that. I am afraid to move topic from one folder to another because i feel that it might disrupt something behind the scene.

As long as you do it within RoboHelp Project Manager, rather than Windows Explorer, the link will be amended.

It's worth keeping a small test project to test things like this without fear of damaging anything that matters.

As Peter said, it all should work fine. If it doesn't your projwect either suffers from a corrupt CPD-file or there already exists a file of the same name in the destination folder.

If such a file has been copied there from outside of RH, you'll have to remove the offending file using Windows Explorer.

If there is no such file, close your project, delete the file named <projectname>.cpd and open the project again.
