1. Re: Convert Separated PDF to Composite PDF
(Aandi_Inston) Feb 26, 2008 6:26 AM (in response to Chad Chelius)I believe Seps2Comp is discontinued (or at least, not available for
recent versions of Acrobat). This seems to be the only plug-in to ever
attempt this near-miracle, and is by far the least cost option
(compared to buying a proofer which accepts separations as input).
A bad and tedious way to do this is to rasterise each page in
Photoshop, and combine these onto channels.

Chad Chelius Feb 26, 2008 6:34 AM (in response to Chad Chelius)Thanks Andy. Yeah, I definitely don't want to go the Photoshop route as it's unacceptable for output. It seems like such a basic need but I suppose the easiest solution is to have the files supplied as composite in the first place! Thanks for your feedback! -

(Graham_Howse) Mar 6, 2008 3:48 AM (in response to Chad Chelius)You can use the Agfa ApogeeX software to recombine the pdf to a composite..... they call it a sep-to-comp pdf.... -
4. Re: Convert Separated PDF to Composite PDF
(Luke_Jennings) Mar 6, 2008 5:13 AM (in response to Chad Chelius)If you have InDesign, you might be able to place each separation on one page and set the top 3 to multiply (transparency), then export to PDF. -
