3. Re: Missing help file in Acro Pro 9.1
DP_MC Mar 24, 2009 9:34 AM (in response to DP_MC)Ok this I did - did an uninstall and reinstall the whole bundle but same problem. No help file.
If I access the adobe help viewer from i.e. Premiere and select an application I note that while all the other Adobe apps come up there is no Acrobat 9. There is an Acrobat 8 and selecting this brings up an Acrobat 8 help splash screen ...and there it hangs. Odd.
Acro 8 is completely uninstalled but somewhere it must be lurking preventing the Acro 9 helpfile being accessed. -
4. Re: Missing help file in Acro Pro 9.1
DP_MC Mar 26, 2009 2:10 AM (in response to DP_MC)Unexpected development - I installed Firefox as an alternative to Explorer and the Acro 9 helpfile now opens. This is odd because it still will not open in Explorer although the other CS3 helpfiles pop up quite happily. Did a virus scan as well as ran malicious tool remover but no sign of virus. One of those things!!! -
