1. Re: After CS 4 install, Bridge in CS 3 won't open
(Michelle_Qi) Oct 21, 2008 8:42 PM (in response to Nick Decker)We can only have 1 Bridge running at at time. You might want to check "task mgr" to see if there is a Bridge in process (I think you might have CS4 on your system tray?) You need to fully "quit" bridge before you open Bridge CS3.

2. Re: After CS 4 install, Bridge in CS 3 won't open
Nick Decker Oct 22, 2008 7:26 AM (in response to Nick Decker)Michelle, you nailed it. Thanks very much!
When I posted about the problem, I didn't realize that Bridge with CS 4 is set by default to launch at system start up. So even though I was closing CS 4 before launching CS 3, I didn't realize that Bridge CS 4 was still running.
One other question: Is there a reason that we can't tell Bridge to launch when PS CS 4 starts, instead of Bridge launching at system start up?
Thanks again,
Nick -

7. Re: After CS 4 install, Bridge in CS 3 won't open
(Michelle_Qi) Nov 4, 2008 10:42 AM (in response to Nick Decker)Gary, could you hold on the "Ctrl" key when you launch Bridge CS4? It will bring up a reset dialog, try to at least reset your preferences (I don't know if you want to keep your cs3 cache) to see if it helps.
Thanks,
Michelle Qi
