Adobe Digital Editions Errors trying to open a PDF

We never had to open this file up on any of the machines that had Adobe 8 and now we get this error after installing the Digital Editions. We have tried it on two machines so I have no idea what the problem is.

State: 4
Class: 65603
Code: 147
