How do I manage authorizations?

I cant' even figure out which machine(s) digital editions thinks I'm registered to. I think one might be an old work machine that I used once on a business trip, but I can't figure out any way to manage my activations.

One post says "contact customer support", but the links/logon are bouncing me :(

Basically, you can't.

You have 6 activations, once those are used up then you're stuck unless you open a support case to get them reset.

That is essentially correct. But the activation count grows over time as well.

But if you have an activation issue then you have to open a case to get reset.

To open a Digital Editions 1.5 Technical Support case, please use the contact links at

BWolfe,

Sorry to single you out - but there seems to be a shortfall in the tech support area. All of the Adobe employees on this forum seem to understand what is required to reset AdobeIDs - and upon following the advise of raising Tech Supprt cases, of which I have now raised 3 online and one on the phone - the problem is still not resolved with the response provided below:

We are sorry for the continued trouble. We are unable to reactivate your Adobe IDs. Please let us know if we can provide further assistance or information. Thank you

If this is such a simple task (and from the recent forums - I am not the only one with this issue) why does it take so long for the AdobeID to get reset? And why is it that the tech support area have no idea what is required?

You are lucky. I can't get authorisation just the once!
