Downloading of English-langauge version

I am in Austria and when I download Adobe Digital Editions the server thinks it is being super clever and downloads for me the German-language version. Do not want. Do want English version. How can one download the English-language version?

ADE includes three languages (English, French and German) and chooses the language to display on startup based upon the user's current language preferences.

On Windows you need to change your defaults to display English. For XP this is in the Regional Options -> General Tab -> Your Locale.

On Mac however you can set this on a per application basis by finding the application, do a "Get Info" go down to the "Languages" section and uncheck French and German.
