E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

I had my new Sony PRS-700 working just fine with ADE. The reader went bad (hard failure) and I had to return it. When I launch ADE it asks me if I want to authorize the new device and and click "Authorize". After I do I get the following error message:

E_AUTH_BAD_DEVICE_KEY

I've uninstalled and then reinstalled ADE and I still get the same problem. Any ideas?

Allow me to answer my own question. I notice that the system time was off by 1 hour. I adjusted the time and the error message went away. It works fine now.
