4. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Nini Tjäder Sep 23, 2008 2:43 PM (in response to Dirk Williams)Have worked with GoLive cs2 on Leopard since Leopard came out and across all its updates without any particular problems.
There are other CS2 apps which have problems though, but not Go Live. -
5. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Dirk Williams Sep 23, 2008 2:47 PM (in response to Dirk Williams)GoLive is the only app in the CS2 suite that I use. For everything else I use the CS 3 suite. thanks, Nini :-) -

7. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Nini Tjäder Sep 24, 2008 1:33 AM (in response to Dirk Williams)There might be problems installing it though if you already have CS3 installed. General rule for other Adobe apps is that if you have CS3 installed and want to install CS2 apps you first need to de-activate and de-install CS3, then install CS2, then re-install cs3. my CS2 was already on the machine when CS3 came around and later Leopard, so am unsure if that implies for GoLive CS2 as well. It might as the adobe apps use some common files which can complicate installations. -
8. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Kath-H Sep 24, 2008 2:59 AM (in response to Dirk Williams)It might be OK since there is no Golive CS3 and there is no version of Golive in the CS3 suites ???? -
9. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
brabner Sep 24, 2008 3:35 AM (in response to Dirk Williams)I would concur with the previous post regarding crashing. I find that at random moments (usually involving text) go live simply shuts down my entire system. So do save often. but having said that, overall it does work with 10.5.5 -
10. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Nini Tjäder Sep 24, 2008 4:33 AM (in response to Dirk Williams)Kath - I don't know. Haven't been in the position to have to install Golive CS2 after CS3 is installed. There are files that are common to the adobe apps, regardless of if GL exists as a CS3 (or rather 9 as it is called) or not. Someone has to test it to be able to tell. -
11. Re: GoLive CS2 and Leopard 10.5.5
Dirk Williams Sep 24, 2008 5:27 AM (in response to Dirk Williams)Because I have Final Cut Studio 2, I have to wipe my hard drive clean and do a fresh install of Leopard. I found that installing CS3 Studio first, the CS2 Studio installer will let me install just GL CS2 only. If I do it the other way around, I'd have to install all of CS2. This is how I did it with Tiger. Should be the same with Leopard. I'll let you guys know how it goes after it's all done in a week or two.
