MathType 6.0 out -- problems with Indesign not fixed

I have upgraded to the new MathType 6.0. Unfortunately, it still has the problem that MathType installs its own Symbol font that is not compatible with Adobe's. If you import eps files into Indesign (or Illustrator, for that matter), all large fence symbols (brackets, curly braces, parentheses) will disappear, as will several Greek letters including mu and delta. Indesign apparently uses its own Symbol font and these characters don't carry over.

The bug that didn't allow you to align columns in matrices in any way other than centered seems to have been fixed, although after I fixed the alignment, the program crashed before I could save it, corrupting the file so I couldn't reopen it (thank goodness for Time Machine). And I was able to use the OpenType font Garamond Premier Pro, which I couldn't before, though unfortunately you can't use the OpenType Greek characters instead of the non-functioning Symbol fonts.

A mixed bag, but obviously aimed pretty exclusively at people who want to use MS Word 2008. The crash has me particularly disturbed.
