Extract data xml from pdf form

Hi,



I use Forms service to merge data (xml) with a form (xdp), as result I have a prepopulating form (pdf).



My problem is when the form comes back.

So I have a pdf (with all data) and I want to extract data (xml). I thought it was possible with Forms Service but I don't find example.

So my question is:

to extract data you have to use Forms Service or an another service ?

You can use the Forms service (processFormSubmission) or the Form Data Integration service under Common (exportData).

My problem is the opposite.



My forms come back as XML data ... but I want them to come back as completed PDF's in email. ( people use the "submit" button to send the forms back )



Is there an option to select which will ensure that the emails come back as pdf's and not XML data?

Yes. Create a regular submit button, not an e-mail submit button



BUT



* You will need to Reader Enable the forms or people with Reader will

not be able to submit them



* There is a limit of 500 users per form



* E-mail "submitting" is probably not suitable for real world or

commercial applications; you should submit to a web script, just as

you would with a web page.
