size. One has lots of canvas around it, and the other (the 'enlarged' one)
fills that canvas area.

3. Re: Expanding images
CarlBe1 Dec 18, 2007 10:15 AM (in response to CarlBe1)Hi Murray
Is this done through the image rollover?
The important thing is that as the mouse cursor goes over the thumbnail - the image enlarges (to whatever size I choose) until the mouse cursor moves away.
I am so sorry to sound so thick - but can you explain in detail how I achieve this with Dreamweaver 8?
Many thanks

4. Expanding images
CarlBe1 Dec 18, 2007 10:42 AM (in response to CarlBe1)Hi again Murray!
I have had a go at that and it works just fine -- very very many thanks.
Is there any way in which the transition from the small to the large can be less abrupt - a sort of gradual enlargement?
Carl -

Newsgroup_User Dec 18, 2007 1:32 PM (in response to CarlBe1)That would require lots more work, unfortunately. HTML or even simple
javascript has no facility for doing such transitions. But you can surely
find some custom script with clever Google-ing....
