Are these serious errors or not, because at the end, the surface is printed, and the form is working and gives what i want......

If someone know any links or documents that explain these type of error or lof files, i be glad to see them,

this is an urgent and i need to know as soon as possible.......

      Regards,

Well, ultimately, if you're getting the output you want, then the errors aren't that important however these messages are indicating conditions that might become trouble when you upgrade to a future version.

          Here's a run-down on the errors:
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [179]Possible variable substitution ignored. Variable 'TransCount' not found.
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [179]Possible variable substitution ignored. Variable 'TransCount' not found.

Looks like the string @TransCount is in your data somewhere. @ is a special character in JfMerge that causes JfMerge to look for a variable substitution. If it fails to find something to substitute, it leaves the string alone. To get rid of the message change this to @at.TransCount .

          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'DATA_START' not found on subform/page 'JFMAIN'.

Indicates that the FIELD DATA_START was not found on the JFMAIN page, so it probably went off and found the page that it did exist on and used that. Nothing to worry about here, this is normal processing.

          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [166]Data exceeds field 'Y_COMP_ADDR'. Spillage may be discarded.

The data provided was too long for this field. You may have lost data. You should probably double check the length of the incoming data against the length of the field in Designer.

          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'Y_YVPNA_KEY' not found on subform/page 'HEADER'.
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'Y_521_TRAN_BLART' not found on subform/page 'ITEM_521'.
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'Y_575_BLART' not found on subform/page 'ITEM_575'.
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'DATA_END' not found on subform/page 'ITEM_575'.
          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [108]Field 'LDBOBJECT' not found on subform/page 'ITEM_575'.

          More normal processing.

          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [219]Incomplete last line within file 'C:\PaymentFiles\data\696UTF8_Updated.dat'.

There was no line end (CR/LF on Windows, LF on Unix) on the last line. While not an error, this message is produced to warn the user that the data may be incomplete. Add a line end to the last line in the file to remove this error.

          > 2004/12/12 16:50:29 jfmerge: [400]^define User:PageCountForTrans_1 1

Looks like a trace message. You probably have a ^trace command in your preamble somewhere.

          I hope this helps.

                What is specifically your problem???

A perfectly valid question but why pose it 6 months after the original.

I just have seen it. It is better now than never...Maybe another person has the same doubt recently...don't you think???

                    Regards.

As I stated, your question was valid but IMHO following up after 6 months on a questionable statement that was originally made 2
                      b years
after the original question & answer was made just isn't worth it.

Perhaps my answer was outlined in the incorrect way. It had been better to have asked: Which your problem/doubt was, and how did you solved it?

Anyway, my humble intention was to help in some way, as well as to learn. Maybe not exactly to that person who originally had the problem/doubt, but to help another one who read the post with the same trouble. Although very late. I accept it...

We should leave this issue because it is out of the original post (started 2 years ago...XD XD)

                        Greetings!
