1. Re: Dell 2408WFP owners, suggestions and comments??
Wolf Eilers Jan 18, 2009 5:11 PM (in response to gold987987987)It's not Lr that you have to worry about since it is a fully colour managed application. It is the non-managed apps that will display images images 'incorrectly' on this wide-gamut monitor. -

Jao vdL Jan 18, 2009 5:39 PM (in response to gold987987987)Also be aware that if you use this with windows, even in LR, the web module will display the wrong colors. On a Mac it will only do that if you use a flash gallery. So if you use a PC, do NOT use internet explorer to view your webpages on this, but only Firefox using the secret setting or safari. -

Scott,
I have the predecessor 2407WFP-HC (great monitor) hooked up to my Mac Book Pro. I didn't know if you were looking for information like that of Wolf and Jao, or information on the monitor in general. I have an x-rite Eye 1 colorimeter (and associated software). I believe the 2408 is the same as the 2407 in allowing to adjust during calibration for each channel R-G-B. I would recommend choosing this route during the calibration process.
