Mutli Server (Multi Instance) only with Enterprise?

is it true that the multi instance installation type can only be selected when having an enterprise license? We have only Standard License but wanted to install multi server instances .... to no avail.

Yes, multi-instance and J2EE installations are only available with a
Enterprise license. Just as Adobe nee Macromedia says.
