I hope you are taking 100s of photographs each day so that you can practise using the new Library module features, and making sure that there are blemishes on them so that you can practise the new clone and heal tools, and using on-camera flash to practise the red-eye feature .....!

I have an entire library of too many photos just itching to be allowed into LR. I'm sure there will be plenty of opportunity to use the new clone and heal tools.

I'm hoping that the colour space will match photoshop enough so that I can take a round trip out to use Photokit colour tools and sharpener and back to print (or to use the web module, the slideshow).

Richard, do you know something that the rest of us don't? I was thinking that the download will be available at 00:00:01 of the 19th, Pacific time. I'll be sleeping.

Have you seen: http://www.computer-darkroom.com/lightroom_colour/lightroom-colour.htm (relevant to the beta versions, I don't know about 1.0

About 1.0 and Color Management, Lightroomnews.com has an article by the DigitalDog.

I really thought that Adobe would surprise everyone and ship it today. They still might. Most consumer products are released on a Tuesday, for some reason.

No use trying to check, as, for some reason (heh heh) the Adobe "Your Account" site is down right now...

Unfortunately, I wouldn't read too much into that. I was on that site the other day and it appears that they're merging some systems.

PECourtejoie (beautiful name). The DigitalDog article about color Management in Lightroom is very interesting. But it is based on a wrong figure of ProPhoto RGB gamut...

My confirmation e-mail says the expected date is Feb 18th.

                          I sure hope so.

Hmm, I will be happy to get LR anytime around the 19th. (I'm a RSP owner and don't mind lining up.)

Thanks for the directions regarding the colour issues. The proof will be in the pudding - I use Adobe RGB 1998 in PSCS3, Spyder calibrated display and a Canon 9000Pro printer ... I'll mess about until it works.

Remember sending a roll of film to the local photo shop and getting mediocre pictures back? Doesn't all this rock? I am so appreciative of Photoshop and LR and RSP. Not to mention the incredible quality companies like Epson and Canon have provided at such low cost. I am glad to kiss darkroom chemicals goodbye forever. It's a wonder I survived the fixer.

Hi Jean, Would you care to explain?
