1. Re: Printing - how is it working out for everyone?
Geoff the kiwi Feb 21, 2007 4:49 PM (in response to KateMann)Cool Katherine, you must have a good work pattern.
That's what I get too on Epson R1800.
Nice to hear a positive voice!! -

fwampler Feb 21, 2007 5:10 PM (in response to KateMann)I have the HP D7160. Both V1 and beta 4.1, using application controlled, works flawlessly. Couldn't be more pleased. -

(Dave_(Isaac's_Dad)) Feb 21, 2007 5:32 PM (in response to KateMann)I can't get a good print to save my life, but I am willing to accept user error. I have a smaller printer but it makes good prints from Photoshop so I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong in LR. -
4. Re: Printing - how is it working out for everyone?
KateMann Feb 21, 2007 5:54 PM (in response to KateMann)I don't know Isaac's Dad - I struggled with reddish prints using an Epson for years - every so often I would try to print something, tweak this, read that, try the other and always I ended up with prints that looked red. I calibrated the monitor. Same deal. The files were gorgeous the prints sucked. Then I bought the Canon. I don't know why things work now and didn't then. Might be the Epson, but probably not, might be anything. I know it's logical but I don't fathom the logic. I'm just happy. -
5. Re: Printing - how is it working out for everyone?
(Dave_(Isaac's_Dad)) Feb 21, 2007 6:38 PM (in response to KateMann)Katherine, I did just find out it is my printer. It can't handle the ProPhotoRGB that LR is using. When I open the file in Photoshop and knock it down to Adobe RGB it prints just fine. Strangely it is still not color accurate, slightly less saturation, but looks good. -
6. Re: Printing - how is it working out for everyone?
(ROSSSSS) Feb 21, 2007 7:07 PM (in response to KateMann)I have a Canon pro 9000 also and seem to be getting good results from printing in LR. -- But I need to do more testing.
Problem is I really prefer printing with Qimage. It is superior printing program to anything Adobe has.
Does anyone have any ideas about how LR works with Qimage?

Geoff the kiwi Feb 21, 2007 8:33 PM (in response to KateMann)Isaac's Dad - what printer and OS are you using? Let's see if we can help. I had some difficulties in the beta but have it sorted well now on Mac/Epson.
Rosssssssss, you can make a droplet in export to pt your files from LR to Qimage
