2. Re: Lightroom asks me to sign in to Windows Live ID when trying to export files
Matthew A Kraus May 30, 2008 8:54 AM (in response to Matthew A Kraus)Thanks for the reply. I had already seen that post and tried that suggestion. Though I am using XP and not Vista, I was able to find the folder suggested in the post and delete it, but I still have the problem. I do not get this problem when I use the drop down arrow and choose a folder I already used, only when I select choose and try and make a new path.
Thanks again,
Matthew Kraus -
3. Re: Lightroom asks me to sign in to Windows Live ID when trying to export files
(George_R._Wood) Jun 6, 2008 8:40 PM (in response to Matthew A Kraus)I have this same silly problem while using XP - I have the latest version of Lightroom 1.4.1. I get "sign in to Windows Live ID" and it hangs for a minute or two when I attempt to export files. Does anyone have the real solution? Help me and thanks. -
4. Re: Lightroom asks me to sign in to Windows Live ID when trying to export files
(Julie_Horn) Jul 9, 2008 6:41 PM (in response to Matthew A Kraus)Me too. Windows live ID opens then freezes the whole LR program when I try to open or export to my external hardrive. I use this same external hardrive on another computer with no problem. So I am assuming it is something with my computer but can't figure out how to get past it. Help please. -
5. Re: Lightroom asks me to sign in to Windows Live ID when trying to export files
(George_R._Wood) Jul 9, 2008 7:46 PM (in response to Matthew A Kraus)I have had this problem and it suddenly went away. I have tried to figure out what I did that could have corrected the problem. The only thing I actually remember doing is defragmenting my hard drive - I am not implying that this is the solution, but I can't figure out any other reason that this would suddenly disappear. The only other change in my machine were routine Windows updates. Who knows?
