    Keywords in Organizer and Zoombrowser

I have an image, in Organizer, with a tag "Dogs".

Highlighted the image then File > Write Keywork Tag and Properties info to photo.

Deleleted image from Catalog. Copy the image from its original location to another.

In Organizer File > Get Photos and Videos > From Files and Folders got the image from the new location; new location ensures not reading original.

Look in properties but do not see the tag "Dogs" or any other indication that "Write Keywork Tag" has worked on this file.

      Where should I look?

The reason I am trying this experiment is that I want to bring in several thousand images that have been "Keyworded" in Canon's ZoomBrowser.

If I can find a way to add the ZoomBrowsers keyword to the jpgs I could then bring them into Organizer without retagging.

      Can anyone please advise?

After you write the tags to the file from PSE, the tags should be written to a .jpg file under the IPTC field named "Keywords". They can be seen by freeware programs such as Irfanview, Opanda Iexif and Exiftool. They also show up if you upload such a photo to Flickr. Naturally, the tags should also show up if you re-import the file into PSE.

If these are not .jpg files, some other types of files can store this information and some cannot, and I personally don't know the full list. Also, please check to make sure that the file is not marked read-only before you write the tags to it.
