Problems with Word and CF 5

I have a very bizarre problem. We are using CF5. We use cookies and session variables to manage the login session. When someone copies something out of one of our pages, and pastes it into MS Word, and then goes back to our system, they click on any link, and find that they are logged out. Looks like the CF cookie that keep them connected to their session is blown away.

Anyone had any experience with something like this? It's quite consistent.
