1. Re: CTI jumps ahead on pause
Colin Brougham Apr 12, 2008 6:51 AM (in response to sebrame)Do you happen to have a Matrox RT.X2 in that machine that is experiencing the skipping? If so, that is a well-documented flaw with their drivers. -

(Steve_Brame) Apr 12, 2008 8:06 AM (in response to sebrame)I'd read about the Matrox issue on their forums, but no, I don't have a Matrox card. Sounds like the exact issue though. -

(ElvisLives) Apr 12, 2008 2:21 PM (in response to sebrame)This is a long shot but how are you pausing? Keyboard? Mouse? If it's a multimedia keyboard try disabling any drivers it uses.
The delay might simply be a "processing lag" of some sort. I've also had cheap mice that took some extra time to process a "click". -

(Steve_Brame) Apr 12, 2008 3:59 PM (in response to sebrame)It's not that the CTI continues forward a few frames after I pause, it's a visible 'jump' ahead when I pause with either the mouse or keyboard. -

7. Re: CTI jumps ahead on pause
(Steve_Brame) Jul 3, 2008 5:42 PM (in response to sebrame)No I haven't. We now have same install of Premiere CS3 on 4 machines (moving the activation around as needed), and only one specific machine has the problem. -
