I know that there used to be a way to encrypt the source code
of cfm pages pre-MX. We are being asked to post a site that we are
building to a clients server but don't want them to simply copy the
code and reuse our work without permission/compensation. Is there
still a way to encrypt cfm/cfc pages where they will not be able to
easily modify and reuse the code?
Note that unless you have done something in the code to make
it only
work on a specific system, they can still copy it. Not easily
modify
it, but any encrypted/compiled code should run on any CF
server as far
as I know.
