I am importing 4 MOV files (960X540, 1:1), resizing them, adjusting the speed, and placing them side to side in one final movie. I've done the editing several separate times with different video formats. Upon export, all of my movies look pixelated. What is the best video format to set up a project in and export with (Media Encoder) if I start in MOV at 1:1. I only expect to play the result on a computer monitor or projector, but I am willing to work (and wait) for the best quality video possible. Thanks
Thanks for the reply. I must have had the wrong pixel aspect ratio set in the Media Encoder. Since I was shrinking everything I could imagine it would pixelate the video. What I have final figured out, and should have known all along, is that its probably best to match exactly the settings of the original videos with the export.
So, I got it set to export 1:1 with a Quicktime format and matching codec. It worked. The quality is a-ok.
