Linking to PDF pages

I am trying to link to a PDF using its inline page and named destination parameters from HTMLHelp.

I prototyped a simple HTML file and was able to open the PDF and jump to the desired page number and named destination without problems.

I tried the same scheme using RoboHelp HTML X5. I linked to the PDF file using the WYSIWYG editor and then used TrueCode to add the appropriate parameters to the URL. Then, using View|View Topic from the WYSIWYG editor, I was able to invoke the PDF correctly and again jump to pages and named destinations without problems.

However, when I compile the help project using RoboHelp into a chm, the PDF opens but does not jump to the appropriate page.

Any ideas?

Try adding the PDF to your baggage files if you haven't already.

Thanks for your reply, Colum.

The PDF already shows up in the baggage files, the HTML links are relative, and the page number and named destination parameters are correct because they work from View Topic. The PDF starts in its own window after a file download security warning is answered "Open". The jumps to specific pages within the PDF just do not seem to work from the chm.
