Jonas Hummelstrand Nov 19, 2008 2:26 AM (in response to juskocf)PPro's strength is real-time playback and audio mixing. If you can live without that (which I can't imagine you could if you're doing more than 10 seconds of editing) then you'll be fine in AE.
I tend to do rough edits in PPro and the copy and paste the timeline over to AE for finishing and grading.

juskocf Nov 19, 2008 4:22 AM (in response to juskocf)Thanks Jonas. Yes, the major drawback of AE is that it can't real-time playback. As for audio mixing, not much of a problem for me as I would normally add a music track to it at the most.
