Mylenium Apr 10, 2008 10:08 PM (in response to (Nic_Coe))I'm not aware of such misconduct, but in my book the effect disappearing means that something is up with your source footage. If it is a compressed format, it may have damaged blocks in some areas that prevent correctly generating a pixel buffer. Hence large areas of the image would not contain any more than black and the plugin thus not apply rays... What footage are you using and how do you capture it.

In this case there is no footage it is only text layers in After Effects.

Mylenium Apr 14, 2008 9:57 AM (in response to (Nic_Coe))Mmh, that's indeed odd. Try pre-comping as David suggested. Are you perhaps using some odd Typeface in combination with text animators? Maybe that has something to do with the issue (incorrect rasterization at fractional animator values)?
